Workshops & Classes
Penny Walter presented her Master thesis on Teaching with
puppets to earn her Masters in Education in 2001. Now she
would like to share her research, knowledge and talents to
Teachers, Parents, and Caregivers, Employers and of
course Children.
“The Audience can become so involved with the interaction
of the puppet that they do not realize they are learning.”
· Teaching With Puppets: Available for Teachers
(for all age groups) Penny will come in and
give concrete ideas and examples on how you
can integrate puppets and puppetry into your
current curriculum. This could be a single ses-
sion with tips and ideas in general, or a more
inclusive long term project sessions.
· Making Puppets Come Alive: Teachers, Fami-
lies and Children. Penny will work with work-
shop participants in creating a characters
personality, voice and movements. Single ses-
sion and multi sessions available (Multi ses-
sion culminates with a short performance by
the participants).
Penny has performed at several summer camps and Teacher in service day's presenting her work to both Children and Adults. Proving "Puppets are fun for Everyone!"
